Full IPL 2024 Auction, Sold and Unsold Players

On Tuesday, 10 teams spent INR 230.45 crore on 72 IPL players. Uncapped India cricketers Shubham Dubey and Sameer Rizvi’s fortunes changed overnight after being acquired by RR and CSK for ₹5.8 crore and ₹8.4 crore, respectively Mitchell Starc became the most expensive IPL player only an hour ago, surpassing his skipper Pat Cummins. M Shahrukh Khan and Kumar Kushagra also made big money. KKR spent ₹24.75 crore for Starc, while SRH paid ₹20.5 crore for Cummins. 

Indian pacers Umesh Yadav and Shivam Mavi joined GT and LSG for ₹5.8 crore and 6.4 crore, respectively. New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell came close with ₹14 crore. CSK acquired him. Harshal Patel was purchased by PBKS for ₹11.75 crore. CSK chose to play all-rounders Shardul Thakur (₹4 crore) and Rachin Ravindra (1.8 crore) in the second set. West Indies T20 skipper Rovman Powell was sold to RR for ₹7.40 crore in a bidding battle between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Powell, with a base price of ₹1 crore, was the first player sold in the IPL 2024 auction. Rilee Rossouw was not sold, but Harry Brook was acquired by DC for ₹4 Crore. Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad again fought over Travis Head.
